Lead2Change Events
At Lead2Change, we host a variety of events throughout the program year to help our DreamBuilders on their journey to becoming career ready. From hands-on workshops to inspiring networking opportunities, each event is crafted to empower and prepare our DreamBuilders for success.
The first event DreamBuilders attend each program year is the Career Skills Boot Camp. Our DreamBuilders learn how to set SMART goals, how to attain those goals, and how they can conquer the next chapter of their lives.
At our annual Resume Writing Boot Camp, our DreamBuilders dedicate two days to perfecting their resumes. They take a deep dive into who they are, what their interests are, and the skills and experience they already possess. With the help of wonderful Success Partners, DreamBuilders walk away with a resume they can share with future employers.
Next up: Our Career Exploration Boot Camp. Like all of our boot camps, this experience is created by design, not by default. We ensure our DreamBuilders have the opportunity to hear from people in fields that are aligned with their career goals, their personal values, and what lives inside of them.
Our DreamBuilders then participate in our Interview Skills Boot Camp. Success Partners play a huge role in this boot camp. After teaching our DreamBuilders the skills needed for a successful job interview, they conduct mock interviews so our DreamBuilders can practice their skills and receive the feedback they need to land their dream job!
The final boot camp of the program year is our Networking Reception. Our students receive a lesson in the art of networking and put those skills to the test in real time as they network with volunteers from various industries. We love to see how much our DreamBuilders transform from our first boot camp to our last!
