Manager of Program Services
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Manager of Program Services plays a critical role in advancing
Lead2Change’s mission of delivering high-quality career readiness programs. This position provides leadership
and oversight of the program team, student recruitment, special events, and the Very Important Parent (VIP)
Program. The Manager will ensure programs are effectively designed, implemented, and evaluated to achieve
organizational goals.
Job Responsibilities:
Program Management:
-
Monitor grant requirements and ensure enrollment and contractual goals are met (e.g., MPS
Partnership for the Arts and Humanities). -
Process invoices and prepare compliance reports.
-
Coordinate and develop youth programming with Lead2Change and partner organizations (Annual
Program Calendar).
-
Manage and support the Success Partner Volunteer Program and program staff.
-
Provide oversight for after-school and Saturday programming, including Boot Camp series and special
events.
-
Lead student recruitment and site management for internship experiences, including summer cohorts.
-
Design, implement, and manage summer programs, staff, and internship placements.
-
Supervise and support key program staff.
-
Apply Positive Youth Development, motivational interviewing, and other best-practice strategies to
engage youth and young adults.
Program Recruitment
-
Deliver engaging presentations about Lead2Change to students, schools, and community groups.
-
Support development of recruitment strategies, including outreach through referrals, alumni networks,
and community partnerships.
-
Represent Lead2Change at community events and serve as an advocate for the mission.
Other Responsibilities

Attend relevant training, conferences, and department/program staff meetings.

Performs other work duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, counseling, criminal Justice, Community Development, or related
field plus four (4) years of experience; OR Master’s degree in social work, Counseling, Public
Administration, Community Development, or related field plus two (2) years of experience.

Experience must include youth development, college and career readiness, education, or a related
area.

Demonstrated experience in program development, contract compliance, and budget management.
-
Supervisory and team leadership experience required.

Proven ability to manage organizational systems for tracking program data and outcomes.

Program Instructors - Dream.Explore.Build (Monday & Wednesday)
Under the direction of the Lead Instructor, the Program Instructor is responsible for providing classroom
instruction, leadership, and motivation to Lead2Change students in their assigned sections. Program
Instructors will facilitate a weekly 2.5-hour class using the career-readiness Brick by Brick curriculum at
designated sites with a class capacity of up to 30 students. This position requires instructors to attend team
meetings and events like the Commitment and Completion Ceremonies.
Job Responsibilities:

Healthcare Pathways Student Lead
Are you ready to make a lasting impact on the next generation of healthcare professionals? We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Healthcare Pathways Student Lead to guide and inspire students exploring careers in healthcare.
Position Summary:
The Healthcare Pathway Student Lead reports directly to the Program Services Manager and is responsible for preparing high school juniors and senior students for careers in the healthcare field. This role involves developing and facilitating interactive learning sessions, administering exams, and coordinating experiential learning opportunities such as site visits and job shadowing. Through structured guidance and mentorship, the Healthcare Pathways Student Lead will help students gain exposure to various healthcare pathways and support their professional growth.
Job Responsibilities:

Curriculum Development: Design and implement lesson plans tailored to students' career interests.

Student Mentorship: Provide individualized feedback and support for students' academic and
professional development.

Logistics Coordination: Manage all aspects of offsite learning experiences, including permissions,
transportation, staffing, and scheduling.

Program Engagement: Facilitate student participation in weekly Thursday Academy sessions and track
engagement.

Attendance & Documentation: Monitor student attendance and approve weekly timesheets.

Collaboration: Work closely with the Program Services Manager and Accountability Coaches to identify
and address barriers to students’ career practicum completion.

Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Lead Accountability Coach, the Accountability Coach is responsible for meeting with each student regularly to coach, discuss, and document the student’s progress in the program. TheAccountability Coach will manage a caseload of 10-15 students. The weekly class is held at the designated site. The coach can meet with each student individually, virtually, or in person for coaching sessions. In-person meetings must occur at a Lead2Change-approved location. This position requires coaches to attend team meetings and events such as the Commitment and Completion Ceremonies.
Job Responsibilities:

CLASSES AND SPECIAL EVENTS: Attend weekly Dream.Explore.Build. classes with students and attend special events (e.g., Boot Camps, Internship Interviews, etc.). Track student attendance, assist in classroom management and student engagement, create individualized learning opportunities, and make connections between class and coaching sessions.

COACHING SESSIONS: Meet with each student in caseload monthly for 30 minutes. Prepare individualized coaching session agendas, build and maintain support relationships, and document coaching sessions.

CASE MANAGEMENT: Collaborate with the student, the student’s instructor, family, and the school to ensure the student completes the program successfully.
-
DOCUMENTATION: Track student progress in the program by keeping detailed, up-to-date case notes and reporting to the Lead Accountability Coach.
-
ADMINISTRATION: Participate in Lead2Change team meetings, supervision meetings, cohort meetings, and Problem of Practice sessions.
